1. Who we are
The data controller for ergo8.pro is Latvolt SIA, Reg. No. 40203396625, [email protected].
2. What data we process and why
- Orders: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone, order contents and payment status — to process and deliver your order and handle returns and complaints (performance of a contract), and to keep accounting records (legal obligation).
- Payments: card payments are processed by WooPayments (Automattic, powered by Stripe). We do not receive or store full card details. The payment provider may process data for fraud prevention.
- Delivery: we share your name, address, phone and email with the carrier you choose (for example Omniva) so the parcel can be delivered.
- Customer account: if you create an account, we store your login details and order history.
- Contact form and emails: the information you send us, to answer your enquiry (legitimate interest).
- Newsletter: only if you subscribe (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.
- Website analytics and cookies: with your consent we use cookies and tools such as Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Strictly necessary cookies (for example the shopping basket) are used without consent. You can change your cookie choices at any time via the cookie banner.
- Security: technical data such as IP address and browser information are processed to protect the website against attacks (legitimate interest).
3. Recipients
We share data only with service providers who help us run the shop — hosting, payment processing, delivery, email and analytics — and with authorities where the law requires it. Some providers (for example Stripe or Google) may process data outside the EU/EEA; in that case appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision apply.
4. How long we keep data
Order and accounting records are kept for the period required by Latvian accounting and tax law. Other data are kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which they were collected, or until you withdraw your consent.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv) or the data protection authority in your country.
